Hi,I guess your wondering just WTF is LocalPics Sets !? Well they are all my skin sets ( menu , filemanager , loading pics ) that i've released in the past and ones to come , all Bunched together in sets . So you can download each set and install into your Avalaunch "localpics" folder . Localpics folder ? you say .. Yes one of the many kick ass features that the Avalaunch desktop has . A skins option that Randomly rotates the Avalaunch desktop skin every few mins . But just the skins that are located in the Localpics folder will do this.
So lets take advantage of this ! I'll add more Localpics sets with every 10 skin packs I release . : )
1) Fire up your favorite FTP program ( I use FlashFTP )
2) Log into your xbox with your FTP program and go to here : C:/media/skins/localpics/
3) Now open the Localpics.zip with winzip or what ever you use to unzip files with . And unzip it to a folder of your choice .
4) Go thru your FTP program and drag and drop all the pics from the Localpics folder you just unzipped into the C:/media/skins/localpics/ on your xbox .
5) After you have dropped all the pics you want in to the folder , disconnect from your xbox and restart it .
6) Now go into your Avalaunch settings and click on "Skins" . On the "Skins Settings" screen highlight "Use Local Pictures :" and enable it . Underneath it is "Randomize :" enable it too . So it should look like this when done : Use Local Pictures : Enabled
Randomize : Enabled
7) Thats it you can restart your xbox again if you want to but no real need to . Now you can kick back and ENJOY!
